Lab 2: Project Management Planning
Client Options for My Project
- My Aunt. She likes cats. I could build a webpage on cats. Spoiler alert: She looked at me weird and said no.
- My Great Aunt and Uncle. They like Geneaology. I could probably build a website for them on their family roots. Spoiler alert: I'm kinda glad they said no. That's a huge family.
- My Mother™. She likes plants. I could build a website on how to care for plants. Also, she's my Mom. Spoiler alert: She said no. Thanks, Mommy.
- Teacher's Client, because I like mysteries. Spoiler alert: My only option.
Initial Client Questions
- What type of audience are you planning to attract?
- What is your time frame?
- What message are you trying to send?
- What information are you trying to give?
- Is there a theme you'd like?
Tools for Project 1
- W3 Validator
- I could use this to make sure my code is up to date. It also has a CSS validator.
- Firebug
- I could use this to make sure my website has no bugs or to troubleshoot any issues. I am kind of going off the list on the lab instructions, but I feel like they are good tools.
- Pixlr
- If I need to edit any photos, I can use Pixlr to edit them online for free.
